I’m a software developer in a leadership role, I currently focus on helping build digital services in healthcare.

I designed the interoperability specification for the NHS 111 service that integrates with 999 services to raise ambulance dispatches in real time in England, UK. It saves lives!

Recently I wrote an automation application for the Department of Health saving £ millions of work days during the deployment phase of the NHS 111 service.

Previously I have worked in most healthcare environments using technology to continuously improve patient care.

I wrote an anticoagulant warfarin management application that was nominated by the organisation for an e-innovation award, it didn’t win.

I have hacked open source projects to fit the requirements of an organisation to significantly reduce licensing costs in the region of 5 digits.

I enjoy cooking and spending time with my wife, daughter and son.

I like bikes, I cycle as much as I can.
